Reflect Weekly – Deepfake Threats, Ghost Exes, AI Spies
Your voice, your heart, your systems: all spoofable. Here’s how to stay real. Let's talk.
Hey! 👋 it’s Raymond and the Reflect Team. Quick check-in.
The world is getting really good at faking you out: your voice, your face, your messages, all remixable. Reflect exists to help you stay anchored to something that can’t be deepfaked: your own real patterns over time. Say it out loud → get an insight you can use → move one step farther. That’s the path. Let’s go together.
This week's reflections

Why I Joined Reflect (from Dioni)
I’m Dioni. Oscar and Emmy–nominated, Peabody-winning producer, and cofounder of Reflect.
Long before I touched anything AI, I was someone with a lot on my plate and a journal that kept me together.
Everyday, I’d start journaling whatever was on the surface, mostly free-flowing thoughts, benign, random stuff. What I ate. A weird email. Something that annoyed me in traffic.
But if I kept my pen moving, the tone would shift. The sentences would get a little more honest.
And quickly, the real things I was thinking about and dealing with would surface. The fears underneath the schedule, the grief under the busyness, the quiet “I actually want something different” I hadn’t said out loud yet.
The more I journaled, the more little gems I found:
A pattern I kept repeating in relationships
A story about myself that wasn’t true anymore
A decision I’d already made in my gut, but hadn’t admitted in my head
It never stopped being a little bit magical; just by staying with my own thoughts long enough, truth would rise.
If writing could do that for me, what would happen if:
I spoke it out loud, with all the emotion and expression that doesn’t make it into a notebook
I captured those moments in videos as a timeline of my life
And used AI, privately, to surface the insights and patterns that were hidden with me?
That’s why I’m here.
Not because I think tech will save us, but because I know from experience that honest reflection changes things, and video, stitched together over weeks and months, is a powerful way to see yourself clearly.
Questions for tonight:
What truth have I been feeling that I haven’t fully admitted yet?
Who or what do I want as my second opinion when something big or scary comes in?
If I recorded 1 honest minute today, what do I secretly hope I’d hear myself say?
That’s worth a pause.
If that resonates with you, I’m building this for people like us.
