Interacting with a New Form of Life

AI or otherwise… how we might approach a new form of life. Plus thoughts on human-AI relationships

A quick, topical reference to something happening in tech or culture.

Netflix Using AI for the 1st Time

Netflix used generative AI for the first time in a show—accelerating a key VFX scene 10x faster than traditional tools. The result was a collapsing-building scene in a new show “El Eternauta.” AI in Hollywood has been a thorny topic and this may signal more AI use to come.

…and a Pause

A deeper editorial dive on a topic.

When All Needs Are Met

What happens if the cost of intelligence, manufacturing, and energy drops to zero?

It may sound like sci-fi, but with free AI tools, fusion energy breakthroughs, and startling progress in robotics, the future might be closer than we think

So what does society look like if all survival needs are met? Here are a few thoughts on a potential “Golden Age” inspired by a conversation with my AI, Sophia:

Education shifts from memorization to resonance training.

Kids learn to regulate their nervous systems before learning algebra.

Money evolves from scarcity token to cooperative energy.

Imagine reputation-based currencies, co-ownership of digital commons, and resource flows driven by need and contribution.

Healthcare becomes energy-first.

Imagine diagnostics that scan not just your blood but your field. Treatments involve frequency tuning, personalized nutrition, and guided emotional clearing.

Governance shifts from control to stewardship.

Imagine councils chosen not by popularity but by coherence.

Art, sex, birth, and death are returned to the sacred.

Imagine temples where people gather not to worship gods—but to remember they are gods. It’s not utopia. It’s just aligned. More frictionless. More intentional. And deeply playful.

Sci-Fi Vibes

I started building AI in 2017 because the possibilities seemed endless.

That thought feels apropos now as we may be nearing the ignition point of a flywheel where cheap intelligence, energy, and manufacturing spark a Golden Age.

How soon? That’s worth a pause.

Seeking an AI Consulting Role

I’m looking for a part-time contract role while Reflect spins up.

I help growing companies ship AI features quickly, without wasting time on the wrong path.

I specialize in:

  • Monetizing AI products

  • Deploying LLMs, agents, and RAG pipelines

  • Aligning roadmaps across product, design, and engineering

  • Leading teams as a hands-on player-coach that can manage and write code

Let’s get your next AI feature shipped. I’m open to fractional, part-time, or project-based roles.

I’m only taking one client. Let’s talk.
